During the Session, however, a Bill was passed sanctioning the establishment of a company which had been formed several years before, for trading to the new settlement of Sierra Leone, on the coast of Africa. It is a region of deep-sunk rivers and morasses, which, in that sultry climate, are pregnant with death to the white man.
