His book was stigmatised as sprung from the deepest abyss of darkness, horrible, monstrous, full of poison, containing miserable arguments, insolent blasphemies, and so forth.

FORE:It is, then, proved that the law which imprisons[227] subjects in their own country is useless and unjust.
